Meet the Team

Dr. Fast is originally from Dillon, SC. Upon graduating from Wofford College, she attended dental school at MUSC in Charleston, SC, graduating in 2012. Dr. Fast and her husband, Brian, were excited for an opportunity to move to Florence and, in 2016, buy the practice that is now Magnolia Family Dentistry. Dr. Fast truly enjoys her work! She feels blessed to work with the most wonderful team and considers it a privilege to practice in a place like Florence where she gets to care for friends, family, and neighbors. Patricia and Brian enjoy being involved in their church and community, as well as spending time outside with their three children, Anna Parsons, Henry, and Elizabeth. Coffee and art are her other favorite things! Fun Fact: Dr. Fast designed the logo for Magnolia Family Dentistry and is the artist who created several of the paintings hanging in the MFD office

Dental Hygienist

Cassi has been a hygienist with MFD since 2017, and she is always putting others before herself. Our team loves Cassi’s feisty side, but we also get to see the compassion and care she has for her patients. On top of that, she is a skilled and thorough hygienist! Cassi has spent years serving Mercy Medicine of Florence. Cassi and her husband, David, welcomed their first child, William, last year. While she most loves to be with her family, Cassi is good at many things she’d never tell you about— she’s got a great eye for traditional decorating and entertaining.

Office Coordinator

Better known to us as Becca, she handles scheduling, billing, insurance coordination, and patient communication. Becca’s friendly greeting over the phone and welcoming smile in the office make our patients feel so at ease. What a compassionate person to help explain benefits and financial options, then get patients scheduled for treatment. Born and raised in Lake City, Becca and her husband, Keith, have two sons: Jordan and Nathan. Becca and Keith celebrated the birth of their first granddaughter, Indy, in August (born to Jordan and Allie.) Rebecca has many years of experience in the dental field and is a member of the AADOM. We at MFD are thankful to have Becca making our office schedule and “all the details” run smoothly each day!

Assistant

Sheri is a committed member of the Magnolia Family Dentistry family and has practiced in the dental field for 20 years. Her parents were originally from SC, but she spent most of her years prior to 2011 in Florida following her dad’s retirement from the U.S. Army. She currently lives in Florence with her cats, Yogi and Angus.

Sheri has experience in many fields, but uses her degrees in dental laboratory technology, dental assisting, and radiologic technology every day serving our patients. Sheri’s favorite thing about dentistry is being able to form lifelong relationships with patients and their families. She welcomes patients into the office and the dental chair with a big, warm, smile. It isn’t uncommon for Sheri to pop her head out of a room to wave enthusiastically down the hall to a patient. She keeps our whole team organized and running efficiently— even down to picking the music! Sheri is the magic behind the scenes that has things ready to go before anyone has to ask! Outside of work, Sheri loves to learn! She has a passion for American and World history, and an interest in reading and collecting books.

Hygienist

Amy has been part of the MFD team for several years part time, before joining us fully in 2021. Amy and her husband, John Van, have two boys, Griffin and Gray. She is a homeschool mom, co-founder of All for Autism (a local non-profit,) a Registered Dental Hygienist, and, most importantly, she a daughter of Jesus. Amy has many hobbies, but her favorite is traveling with her family.

She’s kind, gentle, compassionate, caring, a great listener, and always smiling. Everyone loves her, and her sweet presence is so calming in anxiety and stress. Amy has tons of hygiene experience and brings so much professionally and personally to our team and our patients.
